The Client

Sweet baby Sophie is an awaited blessing for her parents and was adored by her doting aunt before she even arrived.  Her aunt gifted a photo session to Sophie’s parents as a baby gift and was present to observe and help at the session.  Dad had limited time but was so gentle and sweet with his baby daughter that she quickly calmed in his arms.  Aside from a few different outfits that they wanted Sophie to wear for her pictures, the family was eager to let Faith create images that had variety and timeless elegance.

The Photographer

In a lovely home with beautiful light I chose to create both traditional and unique portraits of Sophie for her family.  She was a little older than most newborn clients and had little interest in sleeping for the camera but patience and persistence paid off.  The final result was beautiful images that her family will cherish forever and look back on with fondness as Sophie grows.  This family was willing to take advantage of the opportunity to be in portraits with their baby daughter.  Preserving the memory of the emotions and love surrounding this brand new family in photographs was a joy.
