The Client

KXAN commissioned Urban Star Photography for three days of  on location studio style portraits.  Along with two professional make-up artists and a professional hair stylist a portion of the KXAN television studios were turned into a photography studio in order to accommodate the busy schedules of the on-air news personalities and reporters.  The desired result was quality updated portraits to be featured on their website and used in their promotional materials.

The Photographer

In addition to working with consummate professionals in a fast-paced environment, this shoot involved a lot of precision timing which was facilitated and meticulously managed by the efficient Senior Promotions Producer at KXAN.  Since we were working in the television studio it was imperative that we time the studio lighting and activity for the photo session to not interrupt the frequent news spots that were being aired simultaneously throughout the day.  Each personality was photographed with attention to detail to ensure that their portraits reflected the personality that they portray on-air.
